Latest gadget craze....Home Theatre System!
Finally the home theater system (HTS) bug has got to me! I have always wanted a good surround sound system with decent audio/video capabilities within a limited budget but always kept postponing the decision. Something or the other kept being prioritized. However one Sunday morning while discussing it with my wife we both agreed to it. Then began the relentless research and reviews followed by friends/family recommendations. While going through all the reviews, I finally concluded that the best available option for me would be the Denon AVR-X2200 which fulfilled all my requirements. It was 4K capable, with HDCP2.2 and HDMI 2.0 compatible and also had the latest Dolby ATMOS and DTS-X capabilities (albeit after an awaited update). Then came the difficult decision of choosing the right speakers that would ideally be not too big for my sitting room (now designated Media Room).
